PS1: MOVEMENT CONCEPTS AND PRINCIPLES
The learner will be able to
demonstrate understanding of movement concepts, principles, strategies, and tactics as they apply to the learning and performance of physical activities.

TS.HS.1.1 Origin
The learner will be able to
compare and contrast the history of selected team sports.
|
TS.HS.1.2 Date Invented
The learner will be able to
recall the year the sport was invented and identify the inventor of the sport.

TS.HS.1.3 Rules
The learner will be able to
know and apply the official rules of selected sports and games.

TS.HS.1.4 Field Markings
The learner will be able to
identify and apply field markings for selected sports and games.

TS.HS.1.5 Officiate
The learner will be able to
officiate designated sports while applying the rules.

PS2: MOVEMENT COMPETENCY
The learner will be able to
demonstrate competency in motor skills and movement patterns needed to perform a variety of physical activities.

demonstrate competency to dribble, pass, and shoot a basketball using the critical elements for each skill during game play.
