Reading and Literature

PS1:READING COMPREHENSION
The learner will be able to read fluently to understand, identify and respond to non-fiction and fiction literature.
  
ллл LA.1.1.1 Reading Behaviors: Variety
The learner will be able to explore the concept of reading for a variety of purposes in different kinds of texts: picture books, magazines, easy readers, newspapers, big books and lap books, guided reading materials, picture dictionaries, poetry books, fiction and non-fiction.
  
ллл LA.1.1.2 Children's Literature: Contemporary
The learner will be able to experience traditional and contemporary pieces of literature through a variety of media.
  
ллл LA.1.1.3 Recognize: Explicit Ideas
The learner will be able to recognize explicit main ideas, details, sequence of events, and cause-effect relationships in fiction and nonfiction.
