Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drugs

PS1: INFLUENCE OF MEDIA
The learner will be able to analyze the influence of culture, media, technology, and other factors on health.

The learner will be able to assess the consequences on the fetus and child (birth through age 19) of using alcohol, tobacco products, and other drugs.

H.8.1.2 Effects and Resources
The learner will be able to recognize signs and symptoms of chemical dependency and identify appropriate resources for help and support.

The learner will be able to describe the consequences associated with the use of alcohol, tobacco products, and other drugs in teen relationships (e.g., physical abuse, date rape, violence, teen pregnancy, and drinking and driving).
